Our
Story
about us
The Aspirations Day Program and Carrie's Outreach charity was founded to support women facing trauma and exploitation. Drawing on 25 years of personal experience with addiction, the criminal justice system, and street prostitution, our founder brings deep understanding and empathy to her role as CEO.
Aspirations supports women affected by trauma, violence, and exploitation, providing a safe space to heal, rebuild, and be heard. Our services are trauma-informed and gender-responsive, while our addiction program is open to all genders, offering guidance and recovery support. Beyond direct care, we work with local partners to influence policy and create lasting change in the community.

the power of lero's
At Aspirations Day Program we're proud to be part of a growing network of Lived Experience Recovery Organisations (LEROs). Led by individuals with personal experience of addiction recovery, LEROs provide peer-led support, harm reduction, and community-based services.
Our approach focuses on:
- Peer mentoring and support groups
- Reducing stigma and promoting solidarity
- Advocating for recovery-oriented care
LEROs work alongside clinical services to create a comprehensive recovery ecosystem. We're committed to quality and standards, guided by the College of Lived Experience Recovery Organisations (CLERO).
